Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show follows a movie director, stunt manager and production crew as they work on a “live” film set to capture intense vehicle stunts and pulse-pounding chase scenes for an action-packed spy thriller in the south of France.
The show is a scheduled 33-minute attraction for big kids, teens and adults at the end of the Streets of America area in Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park.
The Cars
The stunt cars in Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show are highly-modified Opel brand cars. Though they appear stock, they are reinforced with a rally car roll cage for driver safety. They weigh less than half that of a standard production car, but they’re twice as powerful. Propelled by a 1300 cc, 150 horsepower motorcycle engine, these cars have a unique gear system: 4 forward gears and 4 reverse gears—useful for quick getaways out of town… backwards!

I was less than a second shy of catching the car better going through the explosion.

Burnout at the end

Favorite shot. After this rider goes through some fire, he stays burning for acouple minutes.

Festivals of Speed 2010 -Orlando, FL – Ritz Carlton

Titans Twin Turbo

The Saturday events for Festivals of Speed aren’t centered around cars as much as the rest of the weekend is. Other events, such as golf and various lunches were on the schedule instead.
Saturday morning, FOS hosted a Golf Tournament and lunch afterwards. I did not cover the lunch. My girlfriend and I were having lunch and participating in the Tuscany Cooking Experience. Here are my shots of the cars that were displayed around the hotel and golf course.
These are the automobiles and watercraft that were displayed in front of the Ritz.

These beauties were parked out front. Later in the afternoon, BMW and Tesla hosted a Test Drive event.

This is the black Lamborghini that pulled up as I was shooting.

Tesla with Lamborghini waving.

These are some of the shots I took Saturday around the resort.
Porsche GT3RS & Lexus LFA

Saturday was a wonderful morning to shoot. I could not have asked for a better day. I do have to ask, is the hawk in the tree guarding the GT3RS and the LFA? Is he admiring them?

The shots from Sunday are coming up in the next few days. If you would like to use any of these shots, send me a email – Brutphotography@gmail.com
